I apologize if this has already been suggested, but I was just thinking about how the developers need to make money on other projects while making CL2. Why not give us the option to pre-order the game. Wouldn't that help to get the game done faster? Maybe throw in some added incentive, like an extra perk or weapon, to those of us who pre-order and call it the "Platinum Version" or something more catchy. Or maybe make the game a couple bucks cheaper if you pre-order. I'm sure a lot of us hardcore CL fans would throw down the cash to help speed the game along.
Just a thought.

Definatly a good idea. I spose it would have to be done entirely through 10tons though, as I dont think reflexive supports this sorta thing.

I think that if 10tons gets their way, reflexive isn't going to be in on this one.

I say keep refl**** outa this. 10tons will rock on their own,,, and btw, I'm keen for the pre-order thing, if its slightly cheaper... Nice thread papa

That might be a good thing as then people with the "Reflexive arcade omfg wtf everygame crack bqq11oneONE!1", would not be able to crack the game and it would take much muhc longer to crack, therefore increase sales.

They should also realease a free LIMITED TIME beta.

That sounds like an idea worth considering. However, the problem isn't definitely lack of motivation, it's simply lack of time. There are other projects that we've committed (legally even) on finishing, and that's where the money to develop Crimsonland2 actually comes from. I know it sucks but believe me we'd very much like to finish the game as soon as possible. I honestly believe it's going to be pretty cool :)

seems odd to me to pre-order an online-distributed game, usually, preorders are geared towards making life easier for the vendors, perks are thrown in to give people incentive to give the vendors a break.
Oh hi, it's me again, I'm just popping in to see how Cl2 to coming along. screens=win.

I totally agree, even a couple of extra bucks should not deter a hard core CL fan. Sign me up, Pete.
