Tampere, Finland, May 23rd 2017 – Spellspire, a mix of an action role playing game and a word game by 10tons, is now available in Steam for Windows computers, and in PSN for Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita consoles. The game is priced $9.99 USD. The Xbox One version will launch on Friday the 26th of May, via the ID@Xbox self publishing program.

Spellspire sees the player assume the role of a wizard climbing a 100 level tower, defeating monsters and collecting loot. Combat uses a word game mechanic, where the player picks letters from a grid of ten letters to spell words. Words are blasted out as spells, with longer words producing more powerful blasts. In between levels the player upgrades the wizards gear in role-playing game fashion.
